Welcome
FAMU Alumni & Friends
Greetings Rattlers & Friends,
Rattler Nation, “We Are Coming Home!” On behalf of the Executive Board, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2022 Convention of the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University National Alumni Association (FAMU NAA)!
Since 1901, the FAMU NAA has been a fundraising arm and an advocacy vehicle for the institution and its students. The members of our 85+ chapters work tirelessly to raise funds for scholarships, recruit talented students to attend FAMU, and advocate for FAMU’s stability in ever-changing political climates.
We are FAMU’s largest direct support organization (DSO). The generous contributions made by our members and supporters, through money, time, and expertise, have a significant impact on the institution’s bottom line.
I hope you enjoy your time in Tallahassee, Florida.
Again, thank you for your support and “Go Rattlers”!!!
FAMU Today, FAMU Tomorrow, FAMU Forever!
Sincerely,
Col. Gregory L . Clark
President, FAMU NAA
Greetings Rattlers,
Welcome to the 2022 Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University National Alumni Association (FAMU NAA) annual convention on the “Highest of Seven Hills,” Tallahassee, Florida. It is my pleasure to greet Rattlers who have traveled near and far to this convention. This year’s convention committee has worked tirelessly to make this event meaningful, and we are extremely delighted that you have decided to come back home to Mother FAMU. This weekend will be filled with informative presentations, General Body sessions, and several social activities.
The success of this convention could not be possible without the undying assistance of the Leon County and Capital City Chapters for serving as hosts and for providing the needed support to this convention. Additionally, allow me to recognize the convention committee for the thankless work they have done over the past nine months planning and executing a first-rate convention. They are a top-notch team of professional men and women of the first order.
Lastly, I invite you to take advantage of all that this convention, FAMU, and the City of Tallahassee have to offer while interacting with Rattlers of all seasons. I am humbled to serve as your 1st Vice President and Convention Chair. I am confident that you will have a FAMtastic experience.
Welcome home FAMUly,
